The Buenos Aires government projected an increase in tax revenue for 2025, with specific increases in income and property taxes, aiming for a 33.4% hike.

The 2025 budget of the Province of Buenos Aires revealed that it will not adhere to the Asset Regularization Regime, approved in Law 27.743, according to sources close to the governor. In ARBA, they have the CUITs of the taxpayers who opened Special Accounts for Asset Regularization, but they do not have information about their movements.

During the presentation, it was highlighted that 57% of the favorable balances are registered in jurisdictions without company establishments. An increase in property tax collection of 29.8% is projected, followed by vehicles with an increase of 28.2% and the category "Others" with a rise of 27%.

A 36% increase in gross income collection is expected. The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, mentioned the need to reduce certain taxes during the Annual FIEL Conference. The Minister of Economy, Pablo López, highlighted the importance of protecting the residents of Buenos Aires, boosting infrastructure, and supporting productive sectors in the Chamber of Deputies.

For the next year, provincial revenues are projected at $ 13,079.738 million, a year-on-year increase of 33.4%. The goal is to surpass the inflation projected by the National Government for 2025. It is mentioned that around 101 companies reported favorable balances with the provinces for withholdings, perceptions, and advance payments of the tax.

Companies that participated in the capital amnesty may face negative consequences for not receiving fiscal forgiveness from the Revenue Agency of the Province of Buenos Aires. ARBA has not estimated the projected revenues, and it remains to be seen whether it will share its information with the province.
